I've never witnessed pads buying stuff. But if I did, I'd be terrified of them, not embarrased of them. I'd probably pinch myself because I'd realize I was dreaming.

How bad is hard cheese and cold cuts

Listen, I'm not one to get involved in other people's ruchniyas, and I'm no rabbi so I can't tell you how "bad" and aveira is. But since you're asking, cheese and cold cuts is a mixture that is not allowed according to halachah. If there's a case of life and death where someone needs to eat hard cheese and cold cuts, they should ask their rav instead of random people on the internet.

My initial reaction was chuckling at the memory of me asking my Ob during a pregnancy I went sugar free if I can still have sweet kids Wink

(And please no one think I was serious. I was KIDDING and we both had a good laugh)
