Even if it were, which I doubt, why would you want your child or yourself to start married life in a period of mourning? Wait three weeks and get married in a time of joy.

We went to a wedding that night last year, child of a chashuv Rav I’m sure both sides asked shailos. They made the wedding earlier than typical so chuppah and first dance were before shkiya but dancing continued later.

Please ask your Rav! There are definitely people who do this and considering that the wedding has already been scheduled and it will be a great inconvenience to change plus loss of $$, plus disappointment to Chosson and Kallah there may be even more room to be lenient...

I got married that night last year. We asked R Elya Brudny and he said it’s completely fine.
(His brother married off his child that same night)
