Now she is awful, and mean to her 11yo sister constantly. Insulting her every chance she gets. They used to fight sometimes but were mostly friendly. Now they can't be in the same room. Anyone else experience this?

Of all of you saying it's normal, I need tips to survive it.
My kids are 9 and 10. And just actually gotten better recently. But omg they've been as it since forever.
I feel like I aged 50 years in the last 7 years.

Literally describing my house too! She has become so impossible. I don't have any advice but totally can relate to you.

Same! I see a big shift with my 9 yo… does that make sense it’s hormones?
She was my easy going on and now she is so moody!

It's only normal to an extent. Is she in control of herself? If you tell her to go to her room will she listen? Is she ever physical? Does the younger one make the problem worse? Is it affecting the younger one's self esteem and mood?

I know it’s hormones when they get outright mean for no reason. It’s so hard to watch.

For all these who think it gets better, it doesn't always if not handled properly.
My sister and I are a year apart and very very different. We fought throughout our teenaged years and still hate each other today.
Sorry OP, probably not what you wanted to hear.

That's not very common. What's much more common is sisters who fight and then are very close as adults.
