I have some stew meat in the freezer - can it be used as pepper steak or any other chinese dish?

I think the meat needs to be sliced thin, so it can be fried quickly.

1 beef bouillon cube
1 cup warm water
½ cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 cloves garlic
1 T sesame oil
1 ½ lb stew meat
2 T cornstarch
2 lb broccoli florets
1 T sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Crumble beef bouillon cube into warm water and stir to dissolve. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and sesame oil and stir to dissolve sugar.

Put beef cubes into slow cooker and pour sauce mixture over the beef. Cook on low for 6 – 8 hours (or on high for 4 hours).

Spoon 2 T liquid from slow cooker into bowl. Whisk cornstarch in liquid and stir cornstarch mixture into liquid in slow cooker until consistent in color. Add frozen broccoli florets to slow cooker.

Cook on high until sauce thickens, about 30 minutes.
