OP- I’ve never gotten the feeling from the yeshiva office that they were too busy to deal
with these types of requests. I wouldn’t call them the first week of school for this but once you’re past the first few days, why not call them.

When I want something non urgent, I just email the office and they can respond at their convenience (different schools but same idea)
