Where can intellectually inclined retirees go to meet people and participate in interesting lectures, discussions or book clubs? Something similar to the ou center in yerushalayim. This is not a couple who will do arts and crafts and yoga…

I think the Boro park Y used to have some programs for seniors. I think the young Israel on ocean Ave by ave L, also had but I don't know any details.

My grandma goes to a program called bekirbi in BP
Its on tuesdays in the winter, not sure about summer
Amazing speakers and series, brunch is served
It is not cheap at all, but +++ quality and meet so many nice, likeminded people.
