Some are worth it, will last a long time and are great quality
What size are you looking for? Color? Style?
Do you want a WOC or a large bag?
I can tell you that a LV neverful will last you forever, and is very versatile. I’ve used mine for everyday, travel and as a diaper bag. It’s made of canvas mostly so it’s easily clean-able and goes with everything. But also very easy to spot, if you aren’t looking for something that flashy

I did a lot of research and ended up getting one for $1900 after being sure I’d be happy.
It doesn’t have a visible logo because I think that’s tacky
It’s made of a durable leather
I love it
It’s black so I wear it winter and sometimes summer but I have a cheap camel color leather bag I sometimes use in the summer as well

To me it’s so vulgar like ur trying to hard and showing off. I can easily afford it and won’t get one that has the name on the outside. A classy not recognizable one maybe

At that price point, you are pretty limited if you are super into fashion. Personally, I stay away from the obvious patterned bags. They seem cheap to me (just my opinion). I like classics, like YSL or Chanel. The most bang for your buck would be splitting the 2k budget between different bags, such as a Cuyana and a Mulberry. If you want higher end, you can get deals on used YSL bags or Dior in that price range. I am not a fan of Chloe or Tory Burch but to each his own. I believe there is a fabric tote from Chloe that's around your budget and some smaller bags too. This question is really hard to answer without knowing your intended use and personal style.

I actually like the look of the LV WOC… but is it worth it to get real or should I. Just get fake

I hate fake and I also don’t like the LV woc
How about a Celine?
If you can spend 3k the teen 16 is a great classy choice
Mulberry is good too
YSL Manhattan
Gucci Jackie bag or Diana bag

Do you want to spend money on something for quality that will last or are you just looking to wear a logo?
Fake bags are not quality and are garbage. Not even getting into the legal or moral issues

Depends on the bag. The YSL Manhattan is classic. The quilted bags are everywhere now. Gucci and LV are everywhere too, and I see so many bad knockoffs. I would go roam in some high end stores, see what speaks to you.

It really depends on the bag as many beautiful designer bags would not be recognizable as designer because they don't have any kind of branding or logos.
Like any "luxury" it is worth it if you can afford it and it gives you pleasure.
I happen to love my Balenciaga Velo bag because it is perfect in every way - both aesthetically and functionally. After ten years of use, it is showing its age and I will probably replace it with the same bag because I haven't found anything which I love as much.
But I also upholstered some chairs when I redecorated because I loved them and had my vintage bedroom suite refinished - not to save money but because I liked them more than anything I saw new since it cost more than comparable quality new would have cost.

Have you looked at strathberry and demillie? Also, altuzarra playbag- large size if you can find is gorgeous, all of these have no logos, supper classy and fit your budget. The first two are smaller, altuzarra play you may need to wait for the fall I don’t see the colors they usually have except white. Maybe in other sites!
If you think you may get bored, LV, Chanel and Hermes hold their resale prices best…. But everything else not so much… I would go with a no logo or discrete logo.

It seems like maybe OP wants logos specifically
Also you can’t get Chanel or Hermes for 2k budget. Even Chanel WOC are more than that

You wanted to know pro/con of having a designer bag.
Everyone will think you have money and care about brands and style. Does that make you cool or superficial ? Is that good or bad? Only you can decide.

Just saying, even though Chanel is out of OP’s budget - don’t get Chanel. They have compromised on quality in recent years and people are understandably very unhappy about dropping 5k in a bag that just about lasts a year

I actually like shopping at Chanel because the history is very inspiring and it is owned by a Jewish family. I will not buy anything that has images of Coco on it or that say her whole name outright though
As above poster mentioned, yes their bag quality is no longer good. I’ve had ones start falling apart after literally 2 weeks. Vintage Chanel though is great

How can you tell if it’s authentic when you’re buying vintage?
