I live OOT and have to wash and check my own lettuce for the seder
We're 6 adults and 2 kids for 2 Sedarim
How many bags of romaine hearts should I buy in the grocery?
It says there are 3 hearts per bag

How many pieces do you use per seder? I'm sefardi so I don't use romaine. But if you only need 16-32, one bag is enough.

It's a a volume measurement. If you do not have access to pre-checked, then using just the stalks is much easier.
My recollection is that 1x 3-pack of Romaine hearts is not enough, but that was before pre-checked became common locally, and I just used the stalks.

Not sure but I always buy and check more than I think I'll need and just use the rest for daytime salads
