At what age do you get your baby on a feeding and sleeping schedule for a nursing baby?

A couple of months, but the schedule changes very frequently in the first year.

So far I've found with my kids that if I focus on feeding well (full feeds on demand) and notice the cues, a basic routine will develop on its own. The baby whisperer book explains more about this.
I was doing it before I read https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....psc=1 but you can read it for more explanation and tips.
