Has anyone figured out how many people the lettuce will serve for the requirements of the Seder?

I often use a Costco package of 6 heads. It easily is enough for 2 sedarim of 15 people or so, with leftovers for salad.

I count one head per person for both nights. We use the chart and it says approximately 8x 11 inches of leaves or 3 x 5 inches of stalks.
I measure the stalks.

That's what my notes from last year said. Though I don't do Costco often so I don't know if their sizes vary. I do note that every time I've bought Costco lettuce it was very fresh and stayed good for a nice amount of time!

Just curious what prompted this question.
Is Costco lettuce significantly different in size from any other lettuce?

And why would you need half a head of lettuce per person for moror for a seder?

They carry it in bulk, six heads of romaine hearts in one package. Although before Pesach, I used to see those in some local Jewish stores as well.

Depends on the size of the lettuce, surely.

Between maror and korech, and not such a big lettuce, I can see it working out.

Don’t forget some heavy duty washing and checking with a light box or similar. Costco lettuce can be pretty infested with insects some years.

That's true of all lettuce. I've found the Costco ones generally cleaner than any other brand, though of course you check anyway because lettuce bugs are very common.
