My cousin and her husband are both einikels.
We were on a trip together and went to their matzeiva.

The old stretiner from Ave F was Brandwein. His wife Ruchala is still alive and well.
Just checked with a family member. I'm stretin from my side and dh. From my side it's alot further up.

I'm one generation after you. R Moshe Lipschitz was my great great grandfather. The rest of the Brizel descendants are mostly Yerushalmim so I'm assuming we're somewhat close cousins!
I know my grandfather has that sefer. What exactly is it?

DH grew up knowing that he was from Chassidim but his family wasn't specifically Chassidish and he grew up in a small Frum community. He became Chassidish on his own. We were fortunate to visit Reb Hertz ztl who, was a first cousin to GFIL, not too long before he passed away. And I have the cutest little Shlomo Zalman at my side right now Bh, named for the Vylepoiler Zaide.
Crazy ironic twist to the story is that my father grew up right near Frankels in Flatbush. And I grew up pretty Litvish. My father gets a laugh out of it. |
Bumping this up to say hi to all of my Shalsheles HaZahav relatives. DHs grandfather is the most recent of our family be in there.

Were you in my elementary class or were you in her high school class? Unless it's a different Reizy Morgenstern you're talking about. The one I'm talking about is sorely missed. I keep debating whether or not to call her mother and tell her that.
