I have a son named pesachya and it’s an Aramaic name, another name for mordechai hatzadik in the gemara

Same. I also have a son Psachya and knew the source from the Gemara. I thought maybe I had posted this till I saw the spelling. All the family spells it as you do except for me. I spell it Psachya.

It’s a family name. There’s a BIL and lots of nephews (not married) with this name (though most added another name).

There are two chabad families who have this name.

I was in school with a girl named priva. Never heard it since.
Also met a Pirchi which I think is Pircha. In English it would translate to Flora.
I think they're both beautiful.
When I taught in a school with some Israeli families, there was a Bat Chen and a Moriah which were unusual to me but also very pretty.

My daughter's name is Priva. It was my grandmother's name.
Now I'm totally outing myself, but my husband's name is Elyakim.
We are cool with unusual names!

DH went to yeshiva with a very normal guy named Shalom. The first time he got called up for an aliyah, DH found out that his full name is actually a complete passuk:
פלא יועץ אל גיבור אביעד שר שלום

This is the name of someone in Tanach, I forget who. It's the longest name in Tanach. Interesting bit of trivia.

Not Chabad, but definitely from Russia. I have a feeling it's a Russian name, but you never know! Maybe we will find cousins!

I know a boy named Emmet/אמת, which sort of works as an English name as well as a Hebrew one.

And his brother is Job/איוב.

Has anyone ever met a Kohelet? I have not.

My kids have conventional names, but I respect people who can pull off giving uncommon names.

There's a male Lapidos Chlavna in our family tree. I have a relative named that, but he goes by his English name, and I have a girl relative who was given it as a middle Hebrew name and goes by an English name.

A female relative is Yospa. Doesn't go by it.

My daughter's middle name is Vichna. Not the most uncommon (especially in Bais Yaakov of BP circles because of Rebbitzen Kaplan AH), but she's actually named after our relative who wasn't Rebbitzen Kaplan. DD basically goes by her first name, but she's well aware of her full name.
