Did you use numbing spray so that you can dance without feeling pain by a wedding? Did it work

Oh my goodness. What people will do to themselves to look good.

You realize that pain is a sign that something is wrong? And if you could numb it and dance through it, you would probably be doing some damage to your feet?

Sorry, I am too old to understand you, but this sounds like very skewed values. Wear your heels for the chuppah, and change to sneakers for the dancing!

It may take a lot of shopping, but find a dress shoe that suits your foot, that fits, and consider putting a gel pad into it. That might mean getting it one half size larger.

DO WEAR the shoes around the house, well before the wedding, to break them in, and see what internal padding they might need.

There are also glue-on pads for the back of the heel.

If you can wear sneakers for the dancing, oh sure, do that.

At no time, ever, have hurting feet from shoes. You will destroy your feet and your personality and your friendships. Nobody can be a nice person while in pain.

People are going to be looking at you, but not your feet.

They want to see a dress shoe. But the actual design and the height of the heel is not interesting to them. And if it is, too bad for them. You must not be in pain.

Numbing spray lasts about 5 minutes plus it's surface level so the bones and tendons don't get numbed just the skin

What do the football (soccer) players use when they hurt themself in a game?
They get it sprayed and then run back on to play.

Im sure its something very heavy duty

It is for cattle, for animals.

OP should get gel pads for her shoes and not think about anesthesias used for animals.

Steroid injections. And then they end up with horrible sports injuries.

This is a thing? Dreadful.

Back in the day we just changed into sparkly, fancy sneakers.

Dolly, you made some valid points, but I must disagree with the last 2.

1. To quote my friend's Aunt Sue: Don't worry so much about how you look. Everyone else is way too busy worrying about how they look to notice how you look.

2. The only people who could have any possible interest in what shoes you wear are a. Sadistic shoe designers and b. Possibly owners of shoe stores, but I doubt it, they are happy to sell you comfortable shoes, and c. your Hungarian grandmother.

Do these work straight away?

Genuinely curious. Would never use.

Im always surprised that they can run back on and play after really hurting thenselves.
