I’m willing to pay or switch insurances. Dd needs to fillings and she was fired from 2 dentists. I’m not ready to go down the OR road yet.

We used Wagshal. He has one assistant hold the head, another hands him stuff, you lean over the waist, and he calls in his wife to pinch hit in necessary. I'm still traumatized after a few unfortunately necessary rounds of this.

I'm traumatized and my kid is traumatized. They basically put my really young kid in a straight jacket (they called it a papoose). Sorry. If that's what it takes to be a pediatric dentist tying up a kid then it should be a crime). When my kid was old enough to go to the regular dentist it took him a long time for him to even let him look at his mouth

Yes! I agree- my parents switched to him because I had one difficult sibling and he is the best.

Dr. Mal Azar is amazing. So sweet and gentle with kids and his office is so kid friendly, all the kids love him! I don't have personal experience with a tough kid with him but only heard amazing things from whoever used him

Lol it’s an expression. To pinch hit. No one there hits or pinches. I switched there when one of my kids wouldn’t open his mouth at the dentist. Dr. Wagshall is the best. Never used a straight jacket on my kids. They have laughing gas, lots of videos, and everyone who works there has a ton of patience.

another vote for Dr Malek!
I didn't take my kids to her because she doesn't take their insurance, but I've used her myself and I know kids like her!

Dr. Wagshall’s wife has never worked in his office. I know that for a fact. So accusing her of “pinch hitting” is completely false and never happened
