Does anybody have a good recipe for an easy, fast to make soup?

Dice one onion, fry in pot for 10 min with salt mixing frequently. Chop 4 zucchinis - cook for 15 min. Pour in about a cup of water, let simmer for 10 min. Blend.

Pea soup. Take a couple cups frozen peas, add salt and water. Cooks fast and really simple.

Always start with carrot, celery, onion. No need to fry.
Fill the pot halfway with water and put it on the fire.
Peel and chop whatever vegetables you have on hand.
You can add a can of mushrooms, with the water.
Add some salt
Add 1/4-1/2 cup lentils, canned beans, brown rice, barley, or other grain. Cook until the legume is cooked enough. Lentils take 1/2 hr. Barley takes an hour.

Potatoes absorb the salt, so you have to adjust it.

I use;
Carrots
Celery
Onions
Zucchini
Parsnip
Butternut squash
Garlic
Mushrooms.

Onions, garlic, carrots and celery.
Start with onion, let it saute as long as it takes to chop the next item, then add, saute till next item ready etc.
Add squash, sweet potato, potato, butternut squash (really whatever you have on hand).
Add red lentils and barley.
Season with salt, pepper and cumin.
Add water, bring to a boil and simmer for as long as you like, the longer the better.
Keep veg as big chunks and blend, the barley makes it super creamy or dice small and enjoy chunky.

Onion, garlic, carrots and leek.
Add squash and a can of chopped tomatoes. Can add a potato. Can add chickpeas or other bean.
Kemach minestrone soup mix, salt and pepper.
Water.
Same method as above but no blending so cut veg into small chunks.

You can either start off sautéing an onion, or not.
You can add either:
1. Bag frozen brocolli, fill with water part of the way, cook until very soft. Blend. Add spices like salt, onion soup mix. You can add milk after too if you like it like that.
2. Bag frozen cauliflower, fill with water part of the way, cook until very soft. Blend. Add spices like salt, onion soup mix.
3. Chopped (unpeeled) zucchini (also celery if you want), fill with water just to cover veggies. cook until very soft. Blend. Add spices like salt, onion soup mix.
4. Peel and cube sweet potato, fill with water just to cover veggies. cook until very soft. Blend. Add spices like salt, onion soup mix, also cinnamon and honey. To taste.
5. Dice any veggies you have - onions, carrots, celery, potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, mushrooms, peas, beans, etc. and put diced veggies in a pot, add water to cover (maybe a little more) and cook until soft. Spice with salt/pepper or whatever spices you like, to taste.

These are the easiest ones I know off the top of my head. Ones that have more steps that we like - the onion soup and potato duo soup from B"Y cookbook...

Cook one onion chopped big and 5 zucchini and one bunch of dill and parsley. Add consome. Blend when soft.
Takes aby half hr. We like to add shredded cheese to it in the bowls
