I know that's how it works in all daycares. But here it bothers me more because they compensate the director but the actual morahs nothing.

My daycare buys lunch for the morahs. They dont get you anything? Inspections are so stressful

Where do you work?
And are they looking to hire?
None of the places I worked at ever did that! Mabe one place they would schedule a "training" and give an offhand the inspection was a success.
And that's just one place!
I worked at five different daycares over the years!

I work in dialysis. When the state comes to inspect it is super high stress. When we pass maybe we get a “great job” or sometimes a treif pizza. It’s just doing your job.

Bh where I work as soon as the inspector leaves the director gets on the intercom and thanks all the morahs.

Then normally within the week we get a treat if some sort

I honestly never expected anything either. This place though really lays it thick with the director they give her a pay bonus plus a lunch platter. The secretaries also got a lunch platter with salad and bagels and whatever.

Ugh the inspector was showing up monthly by us since the new one started. One time she even bought along the old one and spent a full hour in the room I was in.

Now I'm regretting not going amother but most of it was ridiculousness- there was a dirty baseboard once. Because kids shoes are not always the cleanest and baseboards get dirty. Any bit of construction they are informed about they come make sure its up to code. A bunch of tiny things the previous inspector never even cared about.
