Put sliced onions on the bottom of crockpot. Put brisket into crockpot. Pour a bottle of BBQ sauce over the meat.
Cook on low from candle lighting til lunch time.
Shred with with forks and serve.

Essie14, in general can I use an already cooked really tender piece of meat (cooked long and slow, frozen right after because was too big and we only ate a small amount ), shred it and cook it as you described? Is there any reason not to do so?

Easiest thing ever.
Crushed galic and lot of onion slices on the bottom of the pot.
You can can use chuck or cholent meat or lamb shoulder. Honey, soy sauce, salt pepper and red wine. When ready to serve pull with two forks.
Top with fresh parsley and pomegranate seeds if you want to get fancy.

It would have to cook all night again. I wouldn't do that.
I would just reheat it and serve during the week.

Recipes above.
Meat board ideas- hassle back salami, cold cuts, mini franks, hot pastrami, leftover meat from Friday night- can be lamb chops, lamb ribs, any roast sliced ect, schnitzel, crackers, dips, small vegetables like mini cucumbers, carrots, cherry tomatoes, spicy olives ect
Finger foods- these are mostly time consuming. I make in bulk and freeze in smaller bags.
Lachamgene, empanadas - these take time to learn but once you know it’s easy.
Franks and blanks, mini schnitzel, deli roll, potato burkas (can buy frozen) ect.

I do it all the time with leftover roast. Just jazz it up and bit with some sauces and cook right before eating on a low flame.
Edit- Not in the crock pot though. Eat it right after warming up and shredding.

How long do you cook it for? The recipe says only five hours.
