Did anyone use the above dentist or other dentist near Monsey ( like 30 mins away max) that accepts Fidelis?

Looking for children's dentist that accepts fidelis and is patient and calm with terrified toddlers

Smiths was a really bad experience for us and looking to switch. Any other recommendations that takes Fidelis and is good with kids (calm and doesn’t threaten) and takes really good care of their teeth?

No. One main. They’re overall fun so generally kids don’t mind going, but when we were referred out for a particular procedure, we were told via other exams that there was extensive work that needed to get done that had been overlooked. Seems to be a common thread.
Looking for recommendations for bsomeone new.

We switched from his office, he traumatized the kids. He screams like a maniac at the kids & parents. (And he's all nice & sweet to non jewish patients.)

There's just 1 dentist, Dr Smith. It's a very fun kid friendly office.
I wonder which conflicting reports you heard, hope I'm not missing something.

No he is horrible. Very nasty to the kids.
Office is nice but he isn’t.
I think I have gone to most dentist in Monsey who are accepting new patients.
The ones that are not accepting aren’t because they are good and they are full.

I never used Smith's personally but I have a few friends and cousins who used them and all has a similar experience. TONS of work was needed....my neighbor had to go to a hospital and put her kid to sleep to do the work it was so bad. This ai after using smiths for years.

Personally I take my kids to my dentist who I am happy with. It's not as kid friendly but he does both kids and adults and as I have kids with complicated teeth it really works for us.

Kid needs tons of work all of a sudden after going to smiths from age 2 . They referred out to get one tooth worked on and outside exams confirmed more than five teeth needed serious work.
They were also threatening that child when they were understandably nervous to be there and told me to hold the child in my lap and put my feet over to trap them in… the outside place we went to for the extensive work made the child feel so comfortable and totally fine even though they were getting some real painful work done…
So looking for a new dentist who will make children feel comfortable going to the dentist and also will take proper care of their teeth.

I took my son to Kindsmiles and I was so disgusted. The Dr yelled at my son they shamed me fir not bringing him sooner it qasa horrible experience. I don't like to talk LH about another yid but I would stay away.
PD of monsey I went to also and wasn't impressed either. My opinion theyarent experienced enough with questionable teeth so they refer out. But they didn't want to fill a ordinary cavity told me to go elsewhere.
Other 2 I don't know about.

Thank you so much for your help! This would be the first time I'm sending my kids so I want a dentist that wont be too critical.
Glad I was able to cross off two of them
