Ruti Kepler's books are something special- multifaceted, complex characters from all walks of life.
They are translations so the writing isn't amazing but worth reading.

I just finished Iron Fame by Rebecca Yarros. It was amazing. I'm currently listening on audiobook The Shadow Rising by Robert Jordan.

Blighted: A Story of People, Politics, and an American Housing Miracle-Margaret Stagmeier
Just finished that, found it very easy to read and interesting.
I have also read a lot of Pete the cat and Morris the Moose in the last few months.('')

LOL I'm kinda embarrassed to say...there was this book that was my absolute favorite book as a kid (like when I was 10) that was out of print for years....I just recently found it back in print, and ordered it on ebay.....and I'm enjoying it just as much as I did then! Some things don't change! It's interesting to read and enjoy something as an adult that you enjoyed as a child.
I recently read a series of books by Livia Bitton-Jackson about her experiences during and after the Holocaust - "I Have Lived a Thousand Years", "My Bridge of Hope", and "Hello, America". I found her experience and viewpoint interesting.

I read Slovie Jungreis-Wolf's Raising a Child with Soul over Shabbos. It was good. Nice blend of common sense, inspiration and technique. Some of her anecdotes got me teary-eyed.

Just read over Shabbos
The Longest Race: Inside the Secret World of Abuse, Doping, and Deception on Nike's Elite Running Team
Definitely has some sensitive topics about abuse, but it was a riveting read and really eye opening

Lots and lots of fanfic.
As far as Jewish books, most recently 90 Seconds. I'm scared to read Angels in Orange.
