How does 1 arrange this? It was mentioned yesterday in a thread that there was a reunion in boropark. Was wondering if they’ll be 1 in Lakewood? Do people discuss screen names? How does it work?

I guess if enough people would say they’re interested they can arrange a time and place.

Both. I’m really not curious. What difference does it make if the person I know here is tall or short, thin or plump? Dresses trendy or nerdy?

In a way, I think I prefer the not knowing the posters. I’m happy to be left with the images/impressions I’ve made up in my head. I think meeting them in person would actually take away from that.

I think the old Imamother was more conducive to this- from what I read in old threads it was smaller, everyone posted under their SNs, so people really "knew" other posters. Now most threads are just amothers so I don't think a meetup would be as interesting. There are some posters who regularly post under their SNs who I would like to meet, tho

To me, seeing what other posters look like won’t change anything. I enjoy people here because of their personality which comes through in the posts. I don’t necessarily have to put a face to a screen name to enjoy chatting. But if enough people are curious I’m sure it can be arranged.
It would be a good start to post under your SN.
