When Mommy took me today, I was super nice and friendly to everyone. I smiled at the nurse and doctor too. I even cooperated very nicely. But then the doctor took some needles and poked me... can you believe it? I was trying to be so good. I need to make sure Mommy doesn’t take me back there again. |
When I hear that Mommy is making a well visit I make sure to get sick
No needles and I get yummy pink stuff also

My friend told me her Mommy's doctor doesn't stick needles into her. She said it's because of someone called Auntie Vacksey. So maybe take your Mommy to visit Auntie Vacksey and then the doctor won't be so nasty anymore!

I'm extra makpid to do this right before bed, when Tatty takes me out of the bath. I love the bath but don't like getting out at all. I wish I could stay there all day, so I shriek really loud when it's time to come out. It's hilarious watching him try to get my little arms into my pajamas as I flail them and cry. I make sure to kick my legs extra hard so he can't get those in either. He also insists on putting this stupid itchy hat on my head so I don't get "cold". Bleurghh. How would you feel if someone shoved a hat on your head without permission?!

Question for the newbies (new babies- see what I did there? hahaha): What are we doing about naps? Are they really necessary? They're really cramping my style. Mommy insists on putting me in my crib but it's just not as cozy in there as when I'm strapped to her in my wrap! I can sleep for hours in that thing. The crib? Nah! That's only for teeny tiny just-enough-time-for-Mommy-to-make-herself-some-coffee naps. No two ways about it!

Crib? Seriously??? What is WITH these parents?
You do NOT have to take this lying down. Actually, you might not have a choice about the lying down part, but you were given lungs for a reason! Scream and let Mommy and Tatty know that this behavior is absolutely unacceptable and may not be repeated. EVER.
And I don't get this thing about Mommies needing coffee. If milk is good enough for me, it should be good enough for her too. And she doesn't need to put me down for that!
Maybe she needs to see a therapist about this.

I just want to share a great strategy for getting Tatty's glasses:
You grab his beard with one hand and pull down.
You will see his head will go down WITH the beard! Cool.
Now his glasses are in reach!
With the other hand, take the glasses.
Me and all of my sibs had a meeting in Shomayim before we were born and shared this trick. Mommy and Tatty are so confused how each of us knew how to do it without anyone else demonstrating!
If your Tatty doesn't have a beard, I'm really sorry. You're majorly missing out.
