Not always.
One of my most chilled babies turned out to be a really intense kid.
My other kids pretty much stayed the same from day one.

By me my best baby, slept thru night, was only one not impossible due to colic and reflux, was calm, did what he was supposed to, turned out to be pretty high strung and the most difficult kid. Hard with regulating emotions, Now he is settling down.

My boy that was an active trouble maker toddler, is my complacent child today. Can be in a book for hours.

My girl as a toddler who didn't unpack cabinets but shut the cabinet doors when they were open, today is a mess of a kid.

My toddler girl who unpacked everything and made trouble like a boy, is that perfection type of kid, who gets nervous when her sis doesn't hang up her coat.

So go figure, they're opposite of the toddlers they were.
