Post here.

Feel free to post again in this thread when you finish that book and start something new.

Hope this will become a running thread, like the one about what's for dinner.

I'm finishing up Ani Maamin by Rabbi Dr. Joshua Berman. Really thought provoking.

Biblical criticism has never been something that bothered me much, but his discussion of some of the issues is very interesting.

I also got, but haven't yet read, To This Very Day by Rav Amnon Bazak, which deals with similar issues.

At the same time, I'm in the middle of The Secret History, a novel by Donna Tartt. I am not saying it is a bad book, because she is a very good writer, but I am not enjoying it. Not a book I will probably ever reread after I'm done.

I just ordered the 1986 Artscroll one, Reb Moshe: The Life and Ideals of Hagaon Rabbi Moshe Feinstein. Looking forward to reading it.

LOL. I read a lot of Tweets. Probably should read fewer of those. For every valuable thread or link, there's probably 30 worthless ones. At least.

Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer

It’s about the 1996 Mt. Everest disaster (for some reason, I’ve been reading and watching everything about Mt. Everest and other mountaineering disasters lately).

Love anything Krakauer. I'm reading Snakehead by Patrick Radden Keefe. It's very good. He also wrote Empire of Pain which is a great read.
