Uch that's the worst! I can't wait until I'm tall enough to open doors. Why is the bathroom door always closed? Doesn't mommy know how important my daily toilet paper unraveling ritual is? And I have to test the toilet water to make sure it still tastes delicious! And my big brother's room! He always closes the door when he plays with his little lego! Like hellooooo don't you know I'm the best lego destoyer-uh, I mean builder in the house!

I really like crawling up the bathtub, into the sink. I fit so nicely there. So much fun! Makeup, toothpaste and hair gel to play with, behind those mirrors. Mommy doesn't like my fingerprints on the mirror.
She keeps saying, no, boo boo!
Will you belive me when I say that I am only 1?

Yeah all this booboo stuff is totally overrated. What's the big booboo about the stove? Why did she put those things over the dials so I cant play with them? Child locks are the worstttttt
But dw I definitely know how to exploit a good booboo when necessary. Fall down and no one's around? Just keep playing. Fall down and mommy or tatty's on the couch? Major meltdown and they might even let you have your paci to calm down

I really don't understand this whole "falling down and crying" business. I just scream all the time, whenever I want to. No need for a performance.

I eavesdropped on another thread. It said never to say no to children under 2.

Must be my mommy missed that thread? Otherwise why would she tell me that I can't sit on the table?

The experts giving the advice above must have never met me.

I also love spilling my water. I drink the entire cup and say mowre! Mommy gives me more, but this time I only drink a bit and spill the rest. Then I take my little feet and make plop plop into the puddle. Mommy sounds like a broken tape recorder and says no spilling water so many times a day!

Another great tip is if you ask for more and mommy says no, just screw up your face like you're about to start screaming and magic happens. No need to actually cry, especially if it's after 4pm and mommy's trying to get everyone to do homework

Im So Tired

I overheard Mommy on the phone with Bubby that it's time to stop letting me sleep in Mommy's bed.
Something about me kicking Mommy and getting in her way.
Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous?
So I needed to nip that in the bud, and I spent the whole last night screaming. Now Mommy's convinced I'm "teething" or "coming down with something" so I can stay.
This whole thing is just impossible. I'm too old and tired to scream all night.
None of this would be necessary if Mommy would just leave me where I belong- in the main part of Mommy's bed

Feh. Who says it's HER bed? I claimed it as mine when I was born. As far as I'm concerned she can sleep on the couch! Or in my crib -then she'll know just how awful that place is and never kick me out

When cosleeping, it's important to always stay in the center of the bed. Sleeping is all about taking up space, and it's not right to let the grownups win just because they have the advantage.

I’m in the middle of trying to convince my mommy that I absolutely have to nurse every hour or else I will staaaaaarve. Doesn’t she understand how yummy and cozy it feels to nurse? What’s this talk about every three hours? No way. That’s forever in my books! I want my milkies and I want them when I want them.

I don't want Mommy on the couch or crib
I want her there. In the corner on the hard part of the mattress. Obviously not hogging the soft part of the mattress and the good blanket (I'm over 1).
What if I need to suck in the middle of the night or just need to cuddle on my terms

Mommy washes my head with shampoo. She's funny. She doesn't realize that washing my head with yogurt that I grabbed from sister smells so much better. It also gives my hair a beautiful shine too it. Can somebody please explain this to my mommy. Styles change ya know?!

Not to boast, but I’ve successfully perfected the technique of blowing my diaper up all the way to my neck. It’s been ages since I’ve stayed in the same clothes for an entire 24 hours!

I've got a tip for you, fellow babies. When Mommy picks you up, grab her glasses to play with. And if she doesn't have glasses, grab her face real hard. (It has an extra special touch if your nails are scratchy.) And we all know what to do if our Tatty has a beard...

I started a new hairstyle trend (actually , I believe it's new since I haven't seen anyone else wearing it yet)
I mush a bit, OK a lot of food from every one of my meals into my hair, and then it doubles as a menu history of sorts, where you know what I ate since yesterday's bath, in a glance.
I think it's a cute, trendy look, especially the sticky rice, Mommy doesn't Can't Believe It Can't Believe It

Not all babies know this, but mommy’s nose is a good anchor point to latch on to too.
