Never pick up the phone and say you can't talk.
Takes so long to explain why and apologize, you may as well talk!

I learned my lesson to never believe the "first hand" stories of divorce when a close family members personality disordered xh projected exactly what he is (personality disorder) on her and everyone believes because they heard it first hand..

Sounds like it’s an issue with a feather pillow

It's good this came up to create awareness.

Try to argue with my narcissistic neighbor. She is always right, even when she is wrong. Whenever I disagree with what she does or says, I just keep quiet because I will never win no matter what.

Mimic anyone behind their back.
I once mimicked a classmate behind her back (I actually thought she was cute, but it doesn’t always come out that way when it’s re-enacted).
When I was done, I turned around and gasped when I saw her standing there. She was smiling (and I think she took it well), but I was mortified and vowed never to do such a thing again.

Right. If I can’t talk I won’t pick up.

I once had a private number call my phone over and over and over again, on a busy Friday afternoon. I was running around and I kept ignoring the call. Eventually when I saw they were NOT GOING TO GIVE UP, I answered because I couldnt think straight with all that ringing. She had all the time in the world.
"Hi, is this x?"
Me (very impatiently): "Yes???!!"
Her: "Oh, is now a good time to talk?" She must have picked up on my tone...
Me: "Really really not. It's my Sabbath very soon and I'm in a huge rush. But you keep on calling again and again without leaving a message and you don't seem to understand that if someone ignores your call you should call them a different day, so anyway, what do you want already?"
Turns out it was a funding organization for my workplace, which is a non-profit. I was actually really annoyed that my boss put my private number on the form. I really hate getting work calls when I'm not at the office. But I still felt bad. She was so annoyed she hung up on me, not that I blame her, I was pretty rude. I couldn't even call her back because she used a private number. Luckily we did get the funding in the end

Never send a text without double checking that you typed in the right person’s phone number.
