Sounds so yum! Could cut up some veggies for the sandwiches like sliced tomatoes, pickles, lettuce. And/or make frozen fries as a side.

Yum! That's such a smart idea, this way there's no issues with picky eaters because everyone can make their own. Cut up veggies like cucumbers, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce etc is a really nice touch.

Sometimes I'll send an extra container with 1-2 servings of soup for the next day for lunch for the new mommy, or if I happen to have in the freezer anyway some breakfast muffins for her fir the next day.

Sounds like a great meal! How about a couple of sauces for the sandwiches like garlic mayo or honey mustard?

Your dinner sounds absolutely lovely.

I will also say cut up veggies.
Make your life easy.
Can you wash a box of grape tomatoes, rinse a bag of baby carrots, and slice some Persian cucumbers.

Shouldn’t cost more than $5 or take more than 5 minutes to prep.

Totally not dumb! If she has little kids you can't go wrong with some fries. Sounds like a perfect supper to send. I'll have to keep it in mind for the next time I'm on a mealtrain Smile
