I’m sure some people earn less than 75k, not that nice to leave them out of the poll.
I earn 75, one kid, it covers our bills.

I’m not sure what you mean by side expenses. We are able to save a good amount of money each month after paying our bills. We live very simply.

I'm amazed!! How can you still save money? By side expenses I mean clothing, occasional takeout food, sheitel macher, cosmetics, household items etc

I spend as little as possible on those things. Wear clothes I’ve had for a few years, don’t get my sheitel done often, use the same cosmetics for as long as possible…
I’m surprised you find it so surprising. I have just one kid. Why would 75k not be enough?

The problem is that this differs greatly depending on where you live. What is rent? Are you living in an area where a home can be bought for 200k or one where you couldn't even look at one under 1 million? Rent would be similar- basic 2 BR unit- is it under 1000 or is it 3000 or more?
Even if they spent the same on food, clothing etc- rice, beans and Walmart t shirts- rent would be a major deciding factor if you can cover your bills.
I live in one of those areas where you can't find a 3BR home for under 1.2 million. And it is going to be under 1500 square feet and hasn't been updated in 40 years. So rent is also astronomical. Covering bills requires a lot even with Walmart shopping...

$125k, 3 kids. Falling deeper and deeper in debt every month. Our take home pay each month ends up being 7k, and our mortgage/taxes are 3k and tuition/daycare is 3k, and 1k a month doesn’t cover everything else.

~$76k after taxes (mostly my salary, husband is in kollel with no salary and works a few hours here and there)
5 children
Yes, but just. We were up about $3,000 last year.
We live in Israel, and part of my salary (not included above) goes straight to a savings fund before I see it - so we also have an additional $430 per month there - which is good, because we wouldn't be able to save otherwise!

33,000 dollars/year.
4 kids.
Israel, not a major city.
We within our means, BH.
We were very fortunate to inherit 200k that we put into our house' down payment, so our mortgage matches our old rent.
We're not stressed for money, though we wouldn't buy an expensive item on a whim. We prefer to live in a simpler way than to risk pointless debt.

I take home 6k a month and I earn 75k. In NJ. How are you earning 125k with a take home pay of 7k monthly? Is your medical insurance through your employer very expensive or are you taxed through the roof?

Around 100k depending on the exchange rate. We have 2 kids. Live in Israel but don't own because for that you need an astronomical lump sum that we don't have though we are saving as much as possible. We cover our basic expenses including some extras. Though I like hand me downs for myself and kids.
We pay full price for everything because we make to much to get subsidies. I pay more then double then most people in my neighborhood for daycare.
Also it's my pre tax pay and my husband pays pretty high income tax and we both have savings accounts through work so that's more money that comes out automatically.

We earn 180K Canadian, 8 children under 15 and absolutely doesn't cover expenses. Our tuition bill is over $150,000 alone, which we clearly can't afford. Tuition keeps getting more and more expensive, living costs just keep escalating like food costs and our salaries don't change.

How much is your rent/mortgage? Make more with one kid and hardly cover.
