There was also a book I can't remember the name of about a girl who's family escapes Iran. Anyone know what I might be talking about?

Family Secfets by Sarah Birnhack. I cry every time I read it even though I've read it too many times to count.
And Search my Heart, also by Sarah Birnhack.

There was a series about a family in Europe, it spanned generations. Included Chmielnicki and everything. What was it called?

There was another one - a boy, BT, on the cusp of getting married gets his family background called into question. Research reveals that in the past, a family member - maybe his aunt? - left the fold and was treated as dead by her family. Everything resolves at a graveside forgiveness scene.
Help with the title?

YES.
We had a few random ones, not the whole set, so I would just jump in and out of these people's lives

I loved dancing in the dark. Still do.
Another one was of an orphan girl who lost her mother and only her father took care of her. I think her name was Gila. Does anyone know the title of this book? Saddest book
