At a few minutes before 12 tonight, the lights blinked twice and a few minutes later a third time. I've heard from my friends in Monsey and Monroe that their lights blinked too.
What's going on?
Also, I'm wondering if people in NJ had this issue too ?

Had the same. I saw in the news there was something with the con ed plant in Brooklyn.

If it was an issue in Brooklyn, why did it effect Monsey?

Sounds a bit weird that it would have been caused by a con Ed explosion. As far as I know, upstae ny, including monsey/monroe and nj don't get electricity from con ed

Was washing dishes then. Lights blinked for a second. Thought something was wrong with my lightbulbs.

Yes. It was a few seconds. People got stuck in elevators unfortunately
