I grew up in Australia but now have moved overseas. I still have money in my bank account. It’s been sitting there for a long time not getting any interest. Where can I move it too to get as much as I can from it?

It probably depends on where you live now.

I’m happy to keep it in Australia for now. Just want to put it somewhere where I can get money for it

Why not switch it to where you are now and put it in a high yield savings account? If you are in the US, rates are quite high now, you can get 5% or even 5.3. I grew up in Australia and that's what I did several years ago. Check the exchange rate first, if it's terrible you may want to wait a bit and see if it goes up.
Anon because it's fairly unusual to be from Australia but if you want to pm me I can switch for a bit:)
