Talking about looking for jobs. I’m also looking for a remote job, preferably in remote tutoring, but I’m open to other suggestions at this point as I desperately need more income. I’m a reading specialist, nys certified as well with experience and seem to be having very hard time finding students locally and even remotely. I’ve put out flyers, called p3 agencies, called schools, posted on Facebook groups. I even called even the school I used to work at with no success. Are there parents still hiring tutors or they don’t have money now to hire them and the kids are either in resource room or not getting the proper needed help? Anybody have any ideas on how to find students for tutoring in reading, or who to target?

Yes! I’m a p3 provider as well. I’m also open to doing after school cases. Where are the available cases?

Can you provide more information how you got started with this business? Do you need to be graphically inclined?

I had a Shopify business of my own so I learned. To do a basic website is easy. I sold the business but the person who I sold it to asked me to stay on managing the website. Eventually, I saw that I was good at it and really took the website to the next level so I started managing another website and then did a few websites from scratch for other companies on the side.
You need to have an eye for design (I use Canva) and be good at problem solving. You do not need coding (when needed I copy and paste the code so it’s straightforward).

The design is a very small part of it. You need to be good at copywriting too.
Computer skills, absolutely yes.
You need to know the basics of transferring domains.
SEO optimization.
Correct tags, keywords, collections, sales channel, barcodes, product descriptions and images, for each product. Inventory management (some websites I work with have 20 products and some have 10k.) How to install and setup additional apps onto the website to ensure a smooth website on all ends.
Email marketing blasts.
Syncing your products to Facebook and Instagram and quickbooks ect.
Excel only when putting items on sale, importing or exporting items.
It’s a specialized field because I focus on Shopify e-commerce websites only. If you want to try to do sometime easier you can create information websites through Wordpress.

As explained, I started with my own website.
My first few clients were family and friends.
