It sounds like she was trying to make you feel better about it. It’s best for baby to be with their mother, assuming their mother is loving and capable.
Unless there was a critical reason to leave the baby it’s never in babies interest for this to happen.

You don't have to say a specific community. I'm wondering what the effects you saw were that you were able to directly see was the result of kids going to babysitters.

If babies have separation anxiety, how does anyone send to a babysitter under 2?
