For 2 days - would you do it? My mother would come to my house, so baby would be in her regular environment. She doesn’t go to a babysitter (I work from home) so my mother would watch her and at 3 some of the kids are already home. I’m having guilt leaving her but my mother is insisting she can do it etc…:

I am the grandma who does this. They are staying in their home with their routine. It’s only 2 days.
Go enjoy and rejuvenate.

Are the kids really okay? I’m sure the older ones will be fine, Bubby spoils them….it’s really just my baby…

For a baby it’s traumatic to be separated from their mother. Is it an emergency? If not wait another few months until baby is older.

I think I would... does she see this grandmother often?

Not so often, every few weeks
She would come early that day and I’d be leaving at night
Hopefully she’ll be sleeping by the time I leave

Even if they have their siblings and are in their own house?

Yes, because they don’t know when you are returning. Are you nursing?

Not nursing, only bottle feeding

I wouldn’t. I have the option and am not doing it.
I’d rather take the baby along (Mines even older)

That makes it a easier but I still wouldn’t do it. A baby is attached to their mother and it’s traumatic for them.

I would do it.

Personally I have never left my kids because I have no one to babysit. But I think it's really beneficial to a marriage to occasionally have time away

And OP your situation is ideal because the kids are staying in their home environment and it's only 2 days

Go and enjoy!!

If baby wasn't nursing I'd do it!

It's not traumatic. It's a great arrangement that you have, go for it & don't feel guilty.

Do it.
She’s in good hands and in a familiar environment.

If you can do it, go for it. Trust me, if yo wait, you might not get another opportunity. If baby is familiar with bubby she'll be fine. Enjoy!

Agree.
She's in her own environment. She knows her Bubby and her siblings will be there.
Go and enjoy!
It's so important for your marriage.
