I don't drive, so our car seat gets used only a few times a year on family trips. Our toddler car seat expired ages ago. We own a Doona, but my toddler obviously outgrew that. Similar lifestyle, and I have this one. It's very comfortable, but I find it quite heavy & bulky to storage and schlep to & from the car. I would buy a lighter convertible for not keeping it steady in the car.
