I'm embarrassed that I haven't bumped in a few days.
I'm embarrassed to say that I'm starting to feel meyaeish from this war.
So many dead. So many wounded.
Every day there are more yiddishe faces of soldiers who were killed.
I saw a video of the tunnels. It's horrific. I hope no hostages are really in there. I don't even know what I'm hoping for the hostages. It's too painful to let the mind go there.
I want closure.
I'm going to say a perek now. Please give me chizuk.
ETA I said 3 just now.
I'm hoping that the wonderful chevra of ladies who post on this thread can also post chizuk for me.

Bump.
I said tehillim via the link on Motzai Shabbos. I do try to look at the soldier's name but not always does it "stick"
One of the chayalim had a more memorable name (3 names Ben 2 names) and later that night someone on one of my WhatsApp groups posted that the same chayal, who they personally know, was in a dangerous matzav at that moment.
Dena613 you have facilitated so many tefillos! Please don't be discouraged!

Thank you cbsp.
I guess my nechama is that I'm facilitating tefillos.
But it feels like chatzi nechama.
I know tefillos help, and I know kabalos help, and I know limud Torah helps, and I even know that they are all helping and preventing tzaros from happening.
And yet we're on day 40+ of war and no end in sight.
And I also know yeshuas Hashem keheref ayin.
And I also know nistarim darchei Hashem...
I guess there's a disconnect between my mind and my heart.
I need the Bracha and Menuchah of
VeYedata hayom vahashivosa el levavecha.
Going to say a perek now.

I just told someone today that I feel like giving up and I’m losing my resolve . Let’s do this. I think this may be a nisayon for us and I’m trying really hard , but it’s getting harder for me to keep doing it. HaShem should give us the strength to persevere and overcome our inner challenges with our enemy the satan and with our external challenges fighting evil .
May we be zoche to see our tefillos answered speedily.
We can do this !

Thank you for this.
You're right. It's a nisayon to keep up the tefillos.
The idea of hostages released is pushing me forward
Let's keep up the tefillos!!!!

Good morning!
I'm proud of myself for turning on tehillim lechayal and saying a few perakim before checking the news and imamother.
A friend sent me a video of Mr. Charlie Harari speaking. I'm not going to do it justice and share the mashal and I hope I'm not conveying his message inaccurately, but the nimshal was that when we say Tehillim, especially with kavana and feeling, we are channeling the words of Dovid Hamelech and becoming his mouthpiece.
If when our tefillos are heard in shamayim it would be said, "says who?"
The answer would be, "Dovid Hamelech!"
Our Tehillim are so powerful because it's not our words, they are Dovid's.
I think we can also say they same of our standard tefillos. Shmone Esrei.
So many of the words relate to our situation if you slow down and concentrate. Possibly every single Bracha!!! And they aren't our words, as meaningful and powerful as our own words are. They are the words of Anshei Knesses Hagedolah! We are channeling and holding on to their power.
Let's get tehillim lechayal to 4000 times!
