Should I repair or replace? They are leather, cost about $40, purchased in the summer. He wears them on Shabbos and runs around etc.
Is it more cost effective to repair or replace?

I bought something last year called shoe goo. It’s less than $10 and really works.
It’s a super strong glue. The shoemaker told me to buy it.

I would try gluing them together before replacing. Glue isn't expensive and it's worth a try.
