What are some special events that the PTA in your child’s school organize? Looking for ideas for my lower elementary aged daughter’s JPF (leaning more to the right) school. Some ideas we came up with is Grandparent’s Day, mother daughter challah bake and need help thinking of more!!! Would also love ideas that gear well to preschool age too

Take a trip to Israel day with an Israel fair. Morahs ask children to come with a suitcase and they put chairs together and pretend to fly to Israel. Then, they come to a fair with Israeli food, music, games, and slide show. They can write letters and draw pictures for chayalim.
Flower arranging for Shavuos or cheesecake sale fundraiser.
Concert with Jewish music and snacks for families.
Puppet show/Magic Show for Purim.
Visit from Jewish author with book reading and signing. Kids come in their pajamas and author reads a bedtime story. This could also be the kickoff event for school book sale.
Clothing donations for a Gemach.
Pesach fair: selling tablecloths, matzo covers, kids yontiff clothing or accessories, wine, table decor, Pesach books for kids, flower arrangements to pre-order.

How about Chinese auction, Melava Malka, bake sale, a special Hakaras HaTov to the chayalim and making the soldiers: challah covers, personalized letters, havdalah candles, Besomim satches, and for the mothers that sent their sons into the army- you can make them self care packages and letters, you can a painting sale.
