I never found one in Mikeitz, were did you find it?
I am going to have to look up Beshalach again because I thought Mikeitz was the only one without a sheep.
I mean, I think if you are talking Sefer Bereishis only, then fine.
But the later Parshios, shemos and on, I don't think they all have sheep? I have to think.

I was actually mind boggled by bchadash's response of beshalach, like how did she know?
I pulled out a chumash and flipped around and am not seeing any kvasim or tzon in beshalach!!

I didn't know. I was guessing.
But I did teach Beshalach years ago so I guess I was flipping through the pages in my head.

We used to play a game at the Shobbos table called, Were is the sheep in this week Parsha?
I think only Parsha Mikeitz we could not find anything.
I would really have to look it up again.
They teach kids all sorts of random medrashim these days.
My son came home saying that Sichon was born in the Teiva. I never heard that and I would love to know a source for it. His rebbe said that one of the daughter in laws of Noach was carrying Sichon from before marrying into Noachs family. Anyone ever heard this?
I learned the thing about Noach being the first with fingers many years ago from one of those card games, forget what it's called, where they have people of Tanach and they list facts about them. So it seems like before Noach people were born with webbed hands. And somehow the name Noach is connected to the fact that he has fingers, though I don't remember what the connection is. Can anyone help me out here?
I actually read about Sichon in The Midrash Says this past Shabbos! It said that one of the daughters-in-law - I think Cham's wife - was mezaneh with one of the nephilim before entering the teivah, and then Cham had to be with her in the teivah in order to save her from the embarrassment of everyone knowing she was mezaneh, despite the fact that Noach told his family not to be intimate.

Thank you! Didn't know that
I did know that cham was intimate in teivah and he was punished that he came out of teivah black

This is exactly what my son said (except he said "married". He's only 9.)
Do you have a source?
Who made a coat for their son? (2)
Which 2 groups of people said "lama Nigara?"
Whose donkeys went astray?
Where did cows sing?
Coat 1 chana and 2 Yaakov
Lama nigara 1 those who carried atzmos yosef 2 ?
Donkeys went stray I think shaul
Cows were "going and lowing" in story when the aron was taken by plishtim
Why was the dog punished? What was his punishment?
Hmm. The thing with the raven sounds familiar. Something about being intimate. Also the dog.
I think 3 were intimate in the teiva- the raven, the dog and Cham. Correct?
