How dare he spring this meeting on his wife like this?!?!
You call your wife like a mensch and ask her if it's ok to host the meeting and if timing works for her.
And the way he abuses her while she's on the phone with her boss Banging head

And why did she have to be at the meeting?! To witness Dina Puke

tantrum again?!

Esti is an enabling spouse.
He doesn't deserve support. He deserves a Divorce!

Yes and no regarding divorce.
If they had an ok marriage, never put in the work to make it very strong then such stress can make a man go crazy.
They probably did ok but never really got to love and care and communicate for each other. This situation put a huge stress on Eli. Somehow when it gets to your family he is very enmeshed and very very stressed. Every son wants to make their mother proud. All of a sudden his father died and he is left in a horrible mess. So miserable.

Same here! I stopped buying and I see I didnt miss out. Every week they end it off as if there will be something exciting, but the next week its rinse and repeat again.

If you noted the author's stories are all written the same style, about a couple with marriage problems. Chava and Shalom. (Toxic) Leah's friends and husband. And now Eli and Esti. Its gonna end off that Eli finally realizes Dina is toxic and that's all...

There was just the first week before the father died.
I didn't think he was horrible to her. Busy and distracted, yes. Not the deepest love... but not horribel
Probably a superficial marriage and technical. The type that you don't have many complaints but you don't know what youre missing out on (maybe this is all in my head lol)

I guess through this process he will learn many things and it will force them to communicate better and he will hopefully broaden his view and appreciate his wife and become closer...

But it will all have a happy ending like take two and show that you must never cut yourself off from people even if they are ruining your life. And people will come around and change eventually, just gotta wait for it. LOL

Is anyone else also getting annoyed with estis mother? She bombards her with questions and advice but never once asks her duaghter how she's feeling or chats with her normally at all.

Actually noone chats normally in this serial. I find every conversation is people talking at each other and not listening to the other person. Mimi and esti had one normal conversation and that was it I think

found it irritating
your boss calls you at home out of office hours about a project about which you are excited and need the extra money
you say you are available but your husband keeps calling repeatedly
absolutely nothing wrong with saying to boss "excuse me my husband is repeatedly calling on call waiting I apologize but let me make sure everything is ok and call you right back"
if she has to work and unavailable for last minute family meeting then she can tell Eli "so sorry but I just committed to a work meeting and am unavailable you can fill me in after" and leave and go to a library or some place to continue working
if she needs a therapist to help guide her on being assertive and setting these boundaries then get one

Because that’s what happens on a lucky day.
