Can you imagine a bride being photographed in Central Park and bystanders starting to form a circle and singing Siman tov? Only in Israel!

lol she looks like she wants to exit the circle. Probably annoyed that they're getting in the way of her photoshoot.
But even if not, it would have been a cute -ish story to tell your family at dinner if you were there "I saw something sweet today".
Instead it becomes another viral video accompanied by the only in Israel, mi ke'amcha yisroel etc exclamations.
People need to calm down.

Oh for goodness sake, tone down the cynical...please?
Allow us to enjoy a heart-warming, sweet moment that is truly only in Israel.

For those that dont see the beauty in this, why so cynical? Did your mothers not teach you that if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything?
This was a beautiful moment, thats all. No, it did not have to go all over the internet, of that I agree. But otherwise, its just a nice little video.

Are you sure this wasn't staged? It seems too pat. The men came running from what looks like quite a distance, and they were awfully well coordinated. The photographer didn't object, the bride didn't object, the men's commanding officer didn't object...No, lovely as it was, this was planned. Great PR, but planned.

And?? So what if it’s planned.. it’s still beautiful.. where’s the achdus?? I wish I could see the video, but we have strong filters and no Instagram as well.. be happy for them, it’s a Simcha.. from what they say happened due to a Simcha, I’m so happy for them.. we should only hearing about simchas from our fellow brothers and sisters..

I've seen this kind of thing in real life. Not staged. This stuff really does happen here.
Something similar happened to me when I was getting my pictures done. It all happened so fast there's no time or room to object.
Why should the commanding officer care? They were doing excersizes including stuff like running.
Photographers are go with the flow, stuff happens that you miss if you are so inflexible about how you need things to be.

I don't really like these things being posted everywhere, because I believe in privacy.
But the actual act of Jewish men fulfilling simchas kallah to someone they don't know really is heartwarming and makes me proud to be a yid. What other culture/religion in Western society at least has genuine simcha for a total stranger to the point that there's a universal song they can all break out into spontaneously?
