How can I get colored frosting (ex: pink, yellow) without using food coloring?

beets will give you pink and onion skins or turmeric yellow, but do you really want that in your frosting?

Maybe a little strawberry or raspberry juice might give you a pinkish hue.

I would like to try to avoid fake coloring though!
strawberry juice sounds better.. I did find some similar ideas online just now. Hmm.. I will have to give them a try.

I would assume that is artificially colored.

How about orange juice concentrate?
Cherries have a very deep color. If you buy ready made juice, it will likely be diluted already. No one really sells 100% pure cherry or strawberry juice. Press some cherries yourself.
