It really depends when DH gets home from work. if it's after 8.30pm I might
just have eaten already. I will sit with him but usually not sleeping.

I, personally, don't have a junk drawer, I just don't start one, - I like everything in its place, and a place for everything.
I used to have a junk drawer and I hated when it came to sorting it out, then I joined the "Chatzos group" which caused me to become more organized, b"H. I'm so thankful to that group.
But I can't say the same for other members of my family, so they clear out their junk drawers.
