I probably sound very ignorant - I think this is third time I don't quite understand a question of yours.
I'm trying to think what you mean by gas tank? Where I live one has to leave the gas tank open to ignite the burners on the stovetop, and whatever else works with gas.
I'm beginning to my misunderstanding is the difference between American English and British English.
And, a few posts back, you wrote that you were chased by a non-Jew! That must've been terrifying.
I think she means did you ever leave the gas tank in your car open, when you filled up your car with gas.(I think it's called petrol in the U.K.)
I live in a state that it is illegal to fill up your car yourself, once I was in a rush and just drove off with out the person taking the hose out of the tank, will not say what happened next.
Have you ever forgot to lock your front door when you left on a trip?

Thanks GLUE for explaining. Yes, it's petrol in England.
WOW! That's must've been disastrous!
No, b"H.
Did you ever sew by yourself a gown for a family wedding?
I am asking this because it happened to me last night. I woke up and realized that I was saying most of the Shema out loud in my sleep. I said Hashem at the relevant parts and not Hashem's real name. I do not say Kerias Shema Al Hamito before going to sleep.

How unusual!
Yes.
Have you ever been away from your home for more than a year at a time?
Have you ever put up your Succah or gone into your Succah and had a problem with your Sukkah which meant you had to eat at family members or neighbours?
