You sound like me, I kept thinking it had been so long since I'd read something so engaging.
Her development of the characters and psychological understanding is excellent and so refreshing. Her hashkafic underpinnings are not pedantic but very genuine and organic.
I also read Dual Discovery which I enjoyed.
Yet nothing motivated me to post about it like Devora Rand's writings.

I just recommended it to someone. I really enjoyed it. Another book that I felt was similar was geraniums on the porch.

Upper teens and adult.

curious what people's thoughts on the book were. I related a lot to it because I have a very loving mother who struggled with homemaking type stuff curious how other people took it.
