I have a VERY healthy parve side dish

Creamed Spinach
1 bag frozen spinach
Sautée and season with salt

1 bag (1.5- 2 if you want it more creamy) bag frozen cauliflower
Boil the cauliflower until it’s very soft
Drain well, save some liquid if you don’t have a strong blender.
Blend, if you need to add liquid don’t add too much
To the blended cauliflower add 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp lemon juice (the mustard and lemon juice will give you that cheezy tang) salt.
Taste and adjust seasoning
It should taste delicate “cheezy-ish”
That’s the cream sauce
Mix the cream sauce with the spinach

Reheat when you are ready to serve

Fresh minced garlic

I use this on salmon as well

Super easy and so delish. Simply pour a good amount of salsa all over the top of fish, cover, and bake in pre-heated oven @350 for 90 minutes.

Another option I like is, spread top of fish with mayo and lots of spices, then roll in (or sprinkle on) corn flake crumbs, bake same way as above.

Typically when I bake the fish in the oven, I leave it in the wrapper and add water, spices, and carrot. If you’re pouring salsa on instead, are you leaving it in the wrapper or removing it? Thx

FYI, when the OU and a heimishe hashgacha are both on a product, the heimishe hashgacha often goes off the OU for most of its due diligence (from kashrus sources). You really don’t need more than one reliable organization.
