I'm confused why you want an apology?

None of this was personal. You had an opinion, they had theirs and it turns out things ended up the way you thought it would.
Congratulations?

I’m only talking about personal comments. Opinions and disagreements are a healthy part of life. Attacking someone because you don’t like their opinion is wrong and personal.

They said I was horrific for having the audacity to suggest he be liable. So since they were clearly outraged for no reason, yes they should step back and learn from their off their wall reactions.

Not sure what other thread you are referring to but remember that being charged is not a conviction and he is innocent until proven guilty. If he can prove that he was handed a gun that he thought was a prop and not real and certainly not loaded then I suppose he can get off and wont be convicted. Not sure why anyone had a real gun with real weapons there but I guess we have to wait and see what his defense team will come up with. This should be interesting.

Prop guns are real guns these days and everyone knows that. It makes for more realistic TV!

I'd like to see multiple people convicted, including Baldwin. Actors are drilled on gun safety a great deal. You always always check the gun yourself.

The armorer is also being charged with involuntary manslaughter.

You all flipping out because I asked for an apology. You are all escalating and yes I agree every single one of your comments are very telling and say tons about you, like you pointed out. I'll just sit here and watch you tangle yourselves into a web of nastiness. Go ahead.

Again, people on this thread weren’t necessarily on the previous thread. I would venture to say that the comments directed at you were made because of your language, rather than the opinion.

It is very odd to start a conversation on such an accusatory note when the people who are clicking on the thread, don’t even know what you are talking about.

Obviously we will have questions about why you are so bitter about it.

(I had seen it in the news but not on imamother)

But assistant director David Halls got off easy. And he is the one who is alleged to have bullied the armorer and blocked her from doing her job effectively.

Same as on politics threads. The ones who realize how insane it turns out to support dems, simply disappear rather than admit they were so wrong.

He’s actually not so innocent. He gave an interview a while ago during which he claimed he never shot the gun. Now it’s been revealed that he did.
If he had nothing to hide he wouldn’t have lied.
Now the question is if he’ll be treated with kid gloves because he’s a “celebrity.”

He’s had known serious rage issue for a while, been involved in violent incidents numerous time… it’s not such a stretch to imagine him being guilty of this.

And she was hired by Baldwin, the exec producer, who in this position is liable for problems on set. And iirc, this was a second set of crew because the first walked out because things were so dangerous on set

Here’s a link to the YouTube playlist that explains what really went down. Of course they’re trying to pin it on the armorer. Imo she carries the least blame considering how the set was run. Her biggest crime was staying on the job when she knew there was no way she could do it properly, but in her defense she did the best she could under the circumstances.

PS thank you to the mod who moved the thread to a non amother forum.
