I got married on Tu B'Av, so I didn't have to fast, but I also didn't eat enough...hence the reason why I felt so ill later on. I really don't think it's a good idea for people to fast before their wedding (but that's just my humble opinion).

I fasted until after pre kabbolas ponim pictures, when my mother & mil jointly presented me with orange juice. admittedly I nearly fainted- I wasn't just thirsty.

I fasted until before the chuppah when I had a cup of water. I forget why. Maybe it was because the chuppah was after shkia .. I don't remember.

I tried, ate some chocolate at the hairdresser because I wasn't feeling well, and petits fours at the kabbalat panim. I'm a terrible faster, it would have spoilt my wedding and made me sick for a few days.

Dh fasted.

I fasted till the Yichud room and then was only able to stomach a glass of ginger ale and 2 extra strength tylenol for my extra large headache.
