Which eye glasses stores accept insurance other than medicaid? Some only take medicaid. I can call every store but just wondering if anyone happens to know.

I think imperial eyewear on River avenue (close to central ave ) does. Definitely call and ask before going though.

Eyes on 9 takes united, aetna, amerigroup, wellcare, and vsp.
As per optical eyeland- in most cases the places that accept private insurance charge more for their frames. He finds that you do best in a store with lower prices and using out of network benefits.

I thought eyewear unlimited did but I may be wrong. They told me they don't take medicaid anymore.

I know a particular store that we used to use charges more than most. Not sure what insurances they accept.

Eyewear unlimited does take Medicaid hmos.
Give them the name of the hmo you have
