Isn't it Machpud? Most people I know eat it. The only people I know who don't eat are super super yeshivish.

It's OU the israeli hechsher not American OU. Unless it changed recently.

The rest are Rabbanut Mehadrin Yerushalayim Shmittah Lchumrah.

Gagou De París is on King George, Lyon is by the entrance to the shuk, casa lavi is derech Bet lechem and is vegan.

There's so many good places in Jerusalem that just aren't so well known by Americans.

Entrecôte isn't good.
Rodriguez isn't bad but not worth the price IMO.
There's Yama which is supposed to be good but I haven't tried it yet.

I didn't like the atmosphere in Papagaio- the music was so loud (like a wedding)

Cafe Leon and Gagou De Paris are great but not nicer vibe. It's a cafe vibe- great for lunch/breakfast.

Sams Burgers is great

I've never been there, but I know they were closed for a while and just reopened a couple of weeks ago.

So I think it's different now than it used to be.

Waffle Bar is always a favorite
They have a Rubin hechsher in the branches in Ramat Eshkol, Romema, Ramot Mall and Givat Shaul.
