Most people in my life I call by whatever name they're called. Except my children, and sometimes, my students! I shorten their names all the time, like Yak for Yaakov/Broch for Bracha, even if they already have a nickname, like Shanz for Shani. Recently I was talking to a co-worker, and when saying goodbye/thanking her for something I shortened her name (saying something like "Thanx Roch!) and when she left I realized I gave her a nickname, because she has the same name as one of my children, and that's what I always call my daughter! It was a little embarrassing, and funny at the same time.

TPBM is called by a nickname herself

False I light and my dad lights and We have guests especially for sleepover. We invite them to light as well

The person below me has done something like I just did which was start the dryer twice except that I didn't actually start the dryer. I accidentally turned it off... No wonder my clothes didn't get dry because I didn't actually start the thing. Please tell me someone else has done something like this

No, I don't do laundry every day. In fact I almost never do laundry because my dad usually steals it out of my basket first. But when I've been by myself now I have to do it maybe once a week

I'm only doing laundry for myself

The person below me has a dedicated laundry room instead of just a little nook somewhere
